The beautiful "Dannebrog 800", painted to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the Danish flag, during its appearance at last year's Athens Flying Week at Tanagra Airbase. According to their national legend, in the Crusades of King Valdemar II, during the Battle of Lyndanisse (present-day Tallinn, Estonia) on June 15, 1219, the Danes were in a difficult position when suddenly, a red banner with a white cross fell from the sky. This changed the fortunes of the battle, giving victory to the Danes, who have since adopted it as their country's flag.
